1947 London is a funny one a lot of stuff you see online is purely for online I had to ask for the smoke with the cocktails and the flash ambulance the portrayed to do online and when I ask they said it's just for show which I found a bit deflating for are date night and a let down for the price The food again I had to push them to make the effort you see online witch was a major letdown the food it self or though it's nice taste tender meat just was not wowed by it if I'm honest i have had better at my local for 75% less of the price over all experience there was no ambiance I felt let down misguided and it's all a bit of a piss take I wouldn't go back your paying for location not experience or the food the drinks are spot on and sandron was a brilliant bartender not a bad gaff just was not wowed underwhelming it's how ill describe my experience at 1947 London

At last, the long awaited 1947 has been on my hit list for some time now & gladly I’ve checked this one off… The food was overall decent, beautifully smoked lamb chops, despite being extortionate on price… £28 for TWO pieces of Chops… wasn’t that good but yea somewhat eye wateringly tasty! The whole Cardamon killed my Truck Drivers Dabba however the cocktails were nice enough to wash it down. Lastly lovely decor & £££

Awesome dinner with a great service. But wait ! First of all, we ask the boss to reschedule our dinner because we had a problem work our train and he did it easily. Thanks a lot for that. I repeat, the service is great and the chicken was splendid. A place to be if you want to enjoy your dinner ! Thanks a lot to 1947. Of course, see you. Vous êtes les meilleurs. Martin

1 star is way too many! The waiters were very rude! Moreover, while waiting to be served I had the unfortunate idea of taking a look under the table and I encountered a COCKROACH corpse, yes yes a COCKROACH, it was huge. If a cockroach is …
